If you’re like me, you keep so busy during the holidays, shopping and decorating, cooking and cleaning, that it’s tempting to go ahead and get yourself a little something in the process. But I’ve discovered it’s a “dirty little secret” we all share in common!  So I checked with some friends and clients and got some fun “good reasons” for doing it, because, after all, it’s got to be alright, and besides, I don’t really do it very often! Here’s the list:

  1. But it’s on sale!
  2. It could run out of stock.
  3. Why? Why Not?
  4. I deserve a treat…I’ve earned it!
  5. I know exactly what I want… this is it. (Not leaving it to chance!)
  6. I’m helping Santa – he can’t remember everything– he’ll get the “short” list.
  7. I’m going to need it for the holidays anyway… it’s a “supply”.
  8. I want it now! Then I’ll ask for something else instead.
  9. It’s adorable! /Too cute to skip / My friends will love it.
  10. What a find! It’s a great gift! I want one too!

Ah, darn, 10 is not enough!

So come on, everyone, out with it!  What’s your favorite excuse? Please post it and let’s see how many more gems we can use.

PS  And by the way, in case you missed it, our silicone lids are on sale, stock getting low, they make a great gift, and you deserve a treat!
